To view our
standard curriculum (that is, our non-customized curriculum),
select the grade from the 14 years shown above that your student is
in or is nearest to completing. As you view our curriculum, please
keep in mind that it is considered by many to be more robust than
curriculum used by many schools today. We've designed it that way
intentionally! Nevertheless, we believe the material we've selected
from more than 45 excellent publishers is appropriate both for its
degree of challenge and motivation to the student, and for the
"grade level" it represents. We prefer to SET the standard, not just
meet a standard.
The American
High School Illinois NFP emphasizes the customization of our
curriculum in order to meet the academic needs of your student. We
believe it is more productive for the curriculum to "fit" the
student rather than trying to make the student "fit" a curriculum.
We custom-design our curriculum for over 75% of our customers. This
is especially important for students that are new to our system and
have been exposed entirely to institutional school curriculum and
teaching methods.
To properly
design a curriculum for your student, it is necessary for us to have
an understanding of the academic "level" your student has mastered
